HR Manager (Construction) @ East | Up to $5000


Our client is a leading B1 Construction Company with 200 employees in SG, currently looking for an experience HR Manager to join the team

  • New placement
  • 2 direct reporting staff
  • Location: East


  • Lead and direct the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business
  • Handle full spectrum of HR duties
  • Employee Relations; managing absence, disciplinarians, grievances, sickness, etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvements
  • Performance Management; coaching managers on performance management issues and processes
  • Learning & Development; providing guidance on development for managers and their teams
  • Training; Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement
  • Recruitment & retention; managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Policy & procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes
  • In conjunction with the Head of HR, ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies
  • Working with senior managers, coaching them and advising on all people issues
  • Deal with complex disciplinary/ grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
  • Managing HR budgets
  • Responsible for administrative and insurance matters
  • Other related duties, as assigned



  • A Degree in a field related to human resources management with 3 years of experience in Construction field. 
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating and change management
  • Knowledge of organizational development theory and practices
  • Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR/Payroll software
